Today I had the privilege of personally wishing Mrs. Daniell a happy 104th birthday. What a milestone!

We are grateful to her and her family and friends that she was spared another year. We wish her good health for the new year of life ahead!

The flowers were presented to her on behalf of the Vredekloof CID and the residents of Vredekloof to celebrate this milestone as the oldest person in Vredekloof.

While we still wait on the city to complete their high level design for the dualing of Brackenfell Boulevard to 4-lanes, 2 in each direction, we learn about another development which will increase the high congestion already experienced.

Where are the Public Participation and TIA (Traffic Impact Assessment) to address the infrastructure plus the BUDGET needed to support this massive development and others in the pipeline?

With plans to launch in 2027, groundworks on a new premium grade office park in Brackenfell is set to start within the next few months.

Soos ons 2026 binnegaan, mag die verandering wat ons soek, vrede, geregtigheid en deernis in ons optrede bring.

As we enter 2026, may the change we seek bring peace, justice, and compassion into our actions.

Sy bestemming was die kruis
Sy doel was liefde
Sy rede was ek en jy
Mag jul Kersdag gevul wees met vrede, vreudge, blydskap en baie liefde!

His destination was the cross
His purpose was love
His reason was you and me
May your Christmas Day be filled with peace, joy, gladness and much love.
