Now you see him 😅 now you don't HEATH.

Cape Town - This almost 2 month old whirlwind is permanently on the go! Getting a decent photo is like that movie Mission Impossible. So it was pick him up, hold tight and keep snapping super quick before he darts off to find something new to get into, climb on or chase.

Heath has confidence for days, some might call it attitude! He has absolutely no problem telling his siblings to back off, back up and to leave him alone...

But, and this is the best part 😊 he loves them. Always wanting to be right in the middle of the pile, playing, snuggling and never far from the action. Underneath that feisty little firecracker is the sweetest boy, who just wants to be close.

With a gentle introduction, he could do well with a calm, patient female companion who wouldn't mind a 'tag along' little brother.

Our inside pools are officially complete and look who thinks Christmas has come early and just for him 😂 ODIN is in heaven! Splashing around having the absolute best time in the pool that YOU helped build.

And he’s not the only one, all our rescues are loving their cool down dips. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for building this for them. ###

UPDATE - The finder has handed the dog over to a breed specific organisation. After the grace period, they will contact those who have shown interest.

Young male french bulldog cross english bulldog found tied to a pole on the blouberg beachfront at 07h30 with a harnass and other wire cables in the vicinity of the backpackers. Soaking wet, shivering. Chipped but it is not reading. Good condition. Sweet nature. Please contact: 079 675 7667.

A little Freya update 😊

We have been absolutely inundated with the most beautiful applications for our little Miss Freya. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to apply, share and message.

Please bear with us while we work through them all. We promise we will get back to everyone as soon as we can, we just want to give each application the time it deserves.

While Freya has been the star of the show, gorgeous Sadie and Evie and her 6 handsome brothers, Wilder, Heath, Sloane, Tripp, Kellen and Reid are still waiting patiently for their forever homes.

They are just as sweet, and just as deserving of love, they just haven't had their viral moment yet.

And yes, she's a little spoiled 😁 as she should be. She lives for cuddles, zoomies in the garden, and then flopping right on top of you for loads of love.

Our oldies are often overlooked. They wait the longest, love the hardest and ask for so little.

So here's an idea, skip the Spur burger this month and grab your ticket to our event instead!

For R450 you get an all you can eat buffet brunch with all the trimmings while supporting our super special seniors like Beckham. That’s the same as a family dinner out, but this one saves lives.

This is their big day. A day to celebrate the golden hearts behind those precious grey muzzles. Expect special guest appearances from some of our VIP golden oldies themselves, awesome auctions, fantastic prizes and a whole lot of fun!

The amazing Steven Clarke and his merry band of builders were at the kennels again today, and what a day it was!

They completed the second inside splash pool for the dogs! Hot summer and cool water makes for happy dogs!

And if that wasn't enough, they got the wendy up! Our beautiful wendy that was so kindly donated by Deidré Hewitson Photography, thank you! More storage space for dog beds, blankets and towels.

And then, they grabbed the weedeaters and cleared in and around all the play areas! 😁 So now, if any of our slithery friends decide to cross our path, we'll see them coming and give them a wide berth!

Steven, we can't thank you enough for all you do for rescues. ###
