Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation

Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation Please donate towards vet bills & food! Cheryl-Lyn eventually won the dog's trust and was able to rescue, medically treat and rehabilitate her.

Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate, re-home and provide the best care possible for neglected & abused animals, bringing them back to health, both mentally physically. Our journey starts with an abused, neglected and lost mixed breed stray female dog, living in the bushes near Melkbosstrand, which nobody could manage to get near enough, to assist her. In an attempt to gain the dog's trust and then rescue it, Cheryl-Lyn Potgieter lived in the bushes, on her own, for 3 months, putting out food and water each day. That scared, neglected and abused dog was renamed Daisy and now spends her days helping Cheryl-Lyn taking care of the rescued newcomers until they are strong enough to be re homed.

This is the most beautiful, rewarding update! Witnessing a dog go from being dumped and terrified in the bush to sleeping safely in a loving home is exactly why we fight so hard.

Perfect for celebrating this massive rescue victory and showing your followers that happy endings really do happen.
FROM DUMPED IN THE BUSH TO TRAILING IN THE BUTTER! WISH WINTER A HAPPY LIFE! 😭🌲➡️🏡❤️

We have the most incredible, tear-jerking update to share today! Do you remember the sweet Dune dog who was dumped out in the bush? The one I spent so much time patiently tracking and eventually trapping?
Well, guess what... SHE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🎉🥳
She has gone to an absolutely awesome, deeply loving home. Her wonderful new owner, Lisa and Grant, has named her Winter, and she is proving to be the most amazing, gentle dog. To see her go from a terrified, abandoned soul in the wild to a cherished family member is a true miracle. 🥹🐕✨
Thank you so much, Lisa and Grant, for opening your heart and home to our special girl and for giving her the life she always deserved.
This is exactly why we do what we do at Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation. Sweet Winter! You are safe now. 🌈🐾

CRITICAL EMERGENCY: 4 NEWBORN KITTENS FOUND IN THE BUSH 🚨🐱💔

We urgently need a Rescue Organisation to assist with new born kittens.

Four tiny, newborn kittens were found abandoned in the bush. Tragically, their mom was found deceased, leaving these fragile babies completely helpless and without a lifeline. They are in Atlantis. They are incredibly vulnerable and need specialized, around-the-clock bottle feeding or a nursing surrogate mom right away. 😭

Can any Rescue Organisation network help take them in and save their lives?

📞 Please call Cheryl Lyn urgently on 082 770 2667.

Please share this post everywhere—time is ticking for these little ones! 🙏✨

A heartfelt, massive thank you to the beautiful souls who became our lifelines this week:

• 🍽️ Viki and Tony: The wonderful owners of Delos in Avondale, thank you for spoiling me and our staff with fish and chips as well as pizzas. This was not the first time and now they donated 17 x 7kg bags of dog food. Thank you for your incredible kindness and generosity!

• 🦁 Julie and her partner: Thank you so much for donating a 20kg bag of Lionel’s Choice dog food!

Viola Richard's thank you for the donation towards dog food.

Please, we are desperate.

We have *180 rescue dogs* in our care at Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation and we have run out of food. We have *0 bags left for tomorrow morning.*

These dogs look up at us every day trusting us to feed them. Tomorrow their bowls will be empty without your help.

We have rescued for 13 years, we have never turned a hungry soul away, but right now we cannot do it alone.

🙏 *HOW YOU CAN HELP:*
- Donate a bag of dog food
- Donate any amount towards food
