Thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch of The Secco Collection, David Mansfield’s new publication celebrating the life, ministry and enduring influence of GWC’s former Principal, Dr David Seccombe.

It was a special afternoon of memories, stories and fellowship as we reflected on Dr Seccombe’s contribution to the church, to theological education and to the many lives he influenced through his ministry.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared memories and helped make this such a meaningful occasion. We’re grateful to have celebrated Dr Seccombe’s legacy together.

Great to see Vuyani Sindo, our Vice-Principal: Development featured here.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to see theological education multiplied in this way, from one scholar to many, from one classroom to the wider Church.

Scholarship that serves. Knowledge that equips. Leaders who disciple. A Church strengthened for the glory of Christ.

Scholar Vuyani Sindo has a strong conviction that scholarships (like those that Langham provides) should never exist for their own sake, but should always serve the church.

Vuyani shares, “If my time as a Langham Scholar has taught me anything, it is that rigorous scholarship and faithful ministry are not competing callings. They belong together in the service of Christ and his church.”

One of the wonderful things about Langham Scholars is that after finishing their studies, they return to their home countries to biblically train and disciple future pastors and Christian leaders in their nation and region!

Please join us in giving thanks to God for the latest online seminar hosted by the Gafcon Theological Educators Network (GTEN), featuring Bishop Alfred Olwa of Lango Diocese, Uganda. As he reflected on his own journey into Christian ministry and theological education, Bishop Alfred reminded us that the purpose of theological education is not merely to inform minds, but to transform lives and form shepherds after God's own heart.

Pray for theological colleges, universities, and church leaders across the Global Anglican Communion, that they would work together to equip faithful men and women for gospel ministry. Ask God to raise up teachers who model Christlike character alongside sound doctrine, and institutions that remain committed to serving the mission of the local church.

Please pray for the ongoing ministry of the Gafcon Theological Educators Network (GTEN) as it strengthens biblical theological education around the world. Ask the Lord to deepen partnerships between churches and colleges, so that future generations of pastors and leaders will faithfully proclaim Christ and shepherd His people with wisdom, humility, and grace.
