🐈 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲. 🐈🛍️

A huge thank you to Woolworths for creating more than just a shopping bag...it became part of a life-changing journey.

When Mr Boqwana needed to bring his beloved cat to our hospital for sterilisation, he didn't own a cat carrier or transport box.

Instead of giving up, he made a plan using a Woolworths bag he had at home to safely bring his adorable cat to us.

Because of that simple act of determination and a sturdy bag...another cat was able to be sterilised, helping to prevent unwanted litters and improving animal welfare in our communities.

It reminds us that making a difference doesn't always require something extraordinary.

Sometimes, it's the small, everyday things that help create lasting change.

Thank you, WOOLWORTHS, for unknowingly being part of the solution and helping us make a bigger difference, one cat at a time. 💙

⭐🥳 𝟰 𝟭𝟳𝟮 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱. 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱. 🥳⭐

Over the last six months, together we have sterilised an incredible 4 172 dogs and cats across Cape Town, helping to break the cycle of suffering, neglect, and abandonment.

This milestone would not have been possible without our dedicated veterinarians, nurses, theatre assistants, animal care staff, volunteers, and every member of our incredible team who work tirelessly to change lives every day.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing supporters, donors, and our wonderful ambassadors, Brigitte from Dancers Love Dogs SA and Mike from Faircape Health Institute, whose unwavering support continues to make our mass sterilisation campaigns possible.

Together, we are creating a kinder future for the animals of City of Cape Town one pet, one community, and one life at a time.

How adorable is this?

One of our nurses was busy capturing medical notes for a patient that came in over the weekend for a full blood work-up when he was greeted by the cutest surprise - a feline patient arriving in an adorable Pokémon-themed cat carrier!

While blood tests and veterinary visits can sometimes be stressful, it's little moments like these that bring smiles to our team's faces and brighten a busy day at the hospital.

We think it's safe to say that this carrier was the star of the weekend! ⭐
