Parklands Neighbourhood Watch

Parklands Neighbourhood Watch This is the official page for the Parklands Neighbourhood Watch. Please join & stay informed and let's fight crime in our area, TOGETHER.

Whatsapp No: 079 453 7420 The Parklands Neighbourhood Watch (PNW) was formed in early 2014 by a group of residents in the Parklands/Sunningdale area . This was initiated by the concern created from the high crime stats in our immediate community and the belief that a smaller, more focused area needed to be covered by PNW . This would allow for the micro management of crime and contributing issues

in our area. In a very short period of time, PNW has grown extensively with the support of its dedicated members and in partnership with SAPS, Community Police Forum, Department of Community Safety, City of Cape Town, Law Enforcement, Metro, local medical services, local security companies. We have our own privately owned radio repeater system which enables members to be radio linked 24/7, with a panic button feature for members .This panic button system allows us to identify a specific member when activated in case of an emergency . Our control room is in the heart of Parklands and is manned by members on a voluntary basis. Our radio network includes many local security companies, SAPS and other community policing structures. PNW run Whats App Groups called Crime Alerts, via cell phone, which is open to the general public. To join a Crime Alerts group and receive crime alerts and emergencies, please email [email protected] with your name, road name and cell number. The Parklands Neighbourhood Watch has a 24/7 monitored cell phone number. Please SAVE THIS NUMBER ON YOUR CELL PHONE – 079 453 7420, and feel free to call it at anytime. We also supply PNW home sign boards – these are available to the general public that are resident in our operational area – please email [email protected] to request your board – They are supplied and installed by the watch at a minimal cost . Please join the PNW Facebook Group to stay informed by visiting https://www.facebook.com/groups/P.Neighbourhood.Watch/

An appeal is hereby made to anyone who may have information regarding the identities and whereabouts of these individuals to please contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Bradley Davids, on 082 778 7345 or on 08600 10111.
