🌟 GBV Awareness Programme for Kids – Today at 1PM! 🌟
Today our organisation will be running a special Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Awareness Programme for children aged 8 to 14 years old.

We believe that teaching children about respect, kindness, and non-violence at an early age is one of the most powerful ways to build a safer future. Too often kids tease, hit, name-call, or bully each other without understanding the long-term impact. These behaviours can grow into anger, disrespect, and even violence later in life.

Today’s programme will help children learn:
✨ The meaning of respect
✨ Why violence, name-calling and bullying are never okay
✨ How boys and girls should treat each other
✨ How to say “No”, set boundaries, and stay safe
✨ How to get help from a trusted adult
✨ How to build healthier relationships as they grow

We’ll be using fun, interactive activities, discussions, and role-play scenarios to teach these important lessons in a safe and supportive environment.

📍 Time: 1PM Today
📍 Age Group: 8–14
📍 Purpose: Building respectful, confident, and informed young people

The girls learned to believe in themselves, celebrate their strengths, and take brave steps toward their dreams.
Watching them open up, smile, and shine with confidence was truly beautiful! 🌷

Our Brotherhood session was all about strength, unity, and character.
The boys learned what it truly means to be brave, respectful, and confident young men — leaders who lift others up and make wise choices.
Proud of the growth and energy they brought to the circle! 🙌

🌟 The Launch of Abundant Life Foundation Bonteheuwel Was a Great Success! 🌟

What an incredible day of love, hope, and purpose! 💛 The official launch of Abundant Life Foundation Bonteheuwel was filled with laughter, unity, and a deep sense of community. It reminded us that when we come together, we can truly make a difference.

🌈 What We’re About:
Abundant Life Foundation exists to uplift and restore the lives of our children and youth — helping them rise above their circumstances through arts, drama, life skills, mentorship, and daily care. Our mission is to nurture hope, bring healing, and remind every child that they matter.

🏘️ Why It Matters in Bonteheuwel:
Here in the heart of the Cape Flats, our children are growing up surrounded by violence, shootings, and killings that have become all too common in our communities. 💔
All they are witnessing is pain and fear — and that is not the future we want for them.

That is why Abundant Life Foundation is here — to restore hope, to show our young people that there is still goodness, safety, and love to be found. We are building a space where children can grow, dream, and believe in a brighter tomorrow. 🌅
