IMSA OUDTSHOORN—Our outreach has been active since the 1980s. We utilize the services of 17 volunteers and provide support to 91 business visits each month.
Our primary focus is on sharing the gospel and providing counselling services with two trained counsellors on our team. We maintain strong ties with local churches of various denominations, which often invites us to speak at their Sunday services.
One of our latest projects is street ministry, where we visit taxi parking areas and reach out to workers at the municipality, as well as fostering strong relationships with the local police station. Some visitations are accompanied by guitar music, singing, and testimonies. We also use the local radio station to broadcast messages of hope.
Our ministry serves a wide range of businesses, including various departments, general stores, car dealerships, restaurants, hotels, and law firms. We also minister at elder care centres, providing services for their staff and conducting Sunday worship services in their facilities.
Oudtshoorn is well known for its ostrich farming and attracts many tourists. We visit various farms to interact with workers and engage with visitors.
It is a wonderful privilege to share the word of God with our town, to reach people in various workplaces and homes, and to foster strong relationships. By engaging with people and presenting messages of love and hope with a dedicated team, we witness lives being trans-formed and faith in God renewed. We are grateful to the community for opening their doors and inviting us into their spaces.
