Stars of Tomorrow computer center is a multipurpose center which main aim is to uplift the standard of children’s and adults in the field of Technology. Our main focus is to bridge the gap in the ICT and Soft Skills area for those who can't manage to attend main stream institutions. Our future planning is to build more (sotcc) Center’s in South Africa so that we can reach other Provinces even in
Africa if we manage to do so. The nature of Services
We provide after School programs during the week from Mondays to Thursdays everyday where we teach grade 2s up to grade 7s Mathematics. We also assist Matriculants those that are taking technology subjects in class with the practicing of the past papers. We are using Cami Software align with south African curriculum Cami perceptual, Cami Science and Cami Reader. There are also three Primary Schools that we are working with, we want their Labs to function and also be able to get the Cami Software to be installed so that children’s can benefit. During the week we run adults computer classes so that they can be able to do Power point presentations, Excel spreadsheet, Google on internet and be able to do documents on Word programme. We also assist other NGOs to run effectively by equipping them with technical skills and soft skills like business presentation, Report Writing, Strategy planning etc. There is another Computer Lab that we are about to open at Samora Michel meaning our future planning to open many Stars of Tomorrow Centres is about to be fulfilled. We are going there to uplift our communities in the field of Technology so that many people can be able to help themselves in this field and understand that the World has dramatically changing. We believe that an empowered community is a safe community.
