The Warriors of Hope is an organisation aiming to make a difference to the lives of the little children and their families of Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital by spreading a little HOPE, showing a little LOVE, giving a little STRENGTH and keeping the FAITH. Started in mid 2014, the Muslim chaplain of Red Cross, Zeenat Parker encouraged a group of people to come together and show some lov

e and encouragement to the children of Red Cross by aiming to make Eid a little brighter by gifting them with toys, edu-play material and some yummy treats. This initiative highlighted the need for people to give more than just some material things, but to give of themselves and spend some time and energy on these little warriors battling it out in hospital. We have since evolved into other avenues of the community. Such as washable/re-usable sanitary towel manufacturing and distribution. A much needed Bereavement Book for parents who have lost a child/ren, and we are also working closely with the Bramble Way Primary school in Bonteheuwel. Be a Friend. Be a Warrior.
