Badisa Elsies River celebrated Heritage Day by basing our celebration on the communities we serve!

Our theme, Beyond the Stereotype – Our Heritage, Our Pride, speaks to the negative stereotypes often attached to the areas we work in. As staff who walk these communities daily, we experience first-hand the beauty, resilience, culture and pride that often goes unseen.

Our programme for the day included a staff meeting, training and team-building activities, all centered around honouring the rich heritage of the communities we serve 💚🩵.

On Wednesday 9 September, the Badisa Elsies River team had the privilege of attending the Badisa Annual General Meeting. ✈️

With the theme “From Paper to Possibilities,” the day was filled with reflection, inspiration and meaningful conversations around finding our calling, networking for good, working with the media and navigating AI , as well as looking towards the future.

A wonderful opportunity to learn, connect and reflect on the purpose behind the work we do and the difference we can make in the communities we serve. 💙
