In just over 100 days, 48 nations will begin competing in the 2026 World Cup — a six-week event that will be watched by an estimated six billion people. We see this as a unique opportunity for your church to reach out and demonstrate the love of Jesus!

Ambassadors Football has created a simple, fun football program designed specifically for the World Cup season, featuring an animated football parable alongside the story of the Good Samaritan — a creative and compelling way for children and families to encounter Jesus.

We are sharing this with pastors, director of children’s ministry, or Sunday school leaders.

We would love to equip your church with this free resource!

Our prayer is that many churches will use the unique opportunity of the 2026 World Cup to help children in Africa — and around the world — come to know Jesus.

Ambassadors Football partners with Future Stars led by coach Miranda. Siyanda works with them to coach and to mentor the other young coaches. We are so grateful for this partnership and Miranda's work in this difficult community. Today we celebrate this story from Siyanda.

Hello everyone, this week we highlight Chicco who comes from Capricorn in Muizenberg, an area which is dominated by gang violence - where shootings happen weekly. Most of the kids in this area they don't have hope in the future.

Two (2) years back Chicco was convinced that he cannot play soccer, infact nothing good can out from him, he would doubt everything about himself. He grew up with no role model, no one he could look up to.
I have asked him this year to journey with me on the field as a Coach and off the field as Disciple Maker and Mentor.
He improved way better in playing football, I remember his words"I never thought I could play football and be this good"
I also journey with him of the field on Discovery Bible Study(DBS) where he shared deeply about his life and we always pray together.
One of the greatest joy was to see him lead some DBS groups with confidence and leading training sessions.
We pray for him that God may open his eyes about his purpose, his talents and gifts.. May he grow stronger in the Lord with his identity founded in Jesus.
We coach life through football and we discover God all together for the glory of God.

Training coaches in the church

We love the opportunity to train in Kraaifontein where last month 60 people died in gang violence. Working with 16 coaches from all around Cape Town. We are training in the URCSA church building in Scottsville. Bringing football to the church and the church to the field. Impacting children's lives to change the circle of violence. Football.Faith.Future.

Great post by Miranda from Future Stars, one of the mentor coaches we work with:
In the community, shootings remain a constant threat, even on the fields where our children play. The violence often forces kids to stay home, robbing them of opportunities to simply be kids. They live in a world full of fear and uncertainty.
But despite the challenges, we remain committed to offering a safe space for these young hearts. Through soccer, we give them a place to escape, a place to laugh, to grow, and most importantly, a place to discover the Hope that lies beyond the hardships they face.
Every goal scored, every pass made, isn't just about the game—it’s about building resilience, fostering community, and showing that there’s more to life than what they see on the streets.
We continue to stand with them, because Hope is stronger than any obstacle.

We ended our week long TREC coaches training in JBAY on a high on Friday afternoon with a clinic for 240 community children. We saw deep impact during the week with coaches transformed deep beneath the surface on their lives. Thank you to our partners LXP and 25:40 as well as all the financial contributors.
