🤍 NUNO FELTING DRESS WORKSHOP 🤍

Create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind garment from natural wool & silk.

Join Charity Aka Sharit Meer for an immersive two-day Nuno felting workshop, where you’ll learn to design and create your own light, white Nuno felted dress.

Explore how to shape your garment, work with patterns, create delicate floating pleats and accents, and use wool direction to control shrinkage, drape and form.

Your natural wool and silk will be supplied, giving you the opportunity to focus on the creative process and discover the possibilities of this beautiful textile technique. Your finished dress can also be dyed at a later stage if you wish to add colour.

⏰ 09:00–16:00 both days
📍 33 Middel Street, Kempenville, Cape Town
💰 R3,500 per person
☕ Light lunch & tea/coffee included

Please bring:
• Bubble wrap for your pattern and work surface
• Towels
• A basin/container to take wet work home
• Black permanent marker
• Tape measure
• Ruler
• Apron
• Notebook & pen/pencil

There’s nothing quite like spending a winter’s day learning something new, surrounded by good company, beautiful materials and plenty of creativity.

Our Winter Warmer Workshops are bringing together an exciting mix of hands-on crafts — from crochet, knitting and weaving to felting, spinning, basketry, punch needle, beading and slow stitching.
