Using surfing as a drawcard, 9Miles provides safe spaces and structured afterschool programmes for vulnerable children in coastal communities, and offers mentorship, skills development and holistic support to at-risk youth and their families. OUR MISSION
Through the provision of supplementary education, feeding schemes, literacy, poverty relief, job creation, life skills and leadership programmes,

including sports (namely surfing) 9Miles Project creates sustainable opportunities that engage, uplift, equip and empower impoverished and high-risk youth from coastal informal settlements and surrounding communities.

The annual Radisson RED Blanket Drive Cold Plunge is back for its 5th year, and we’re inviting you to brave the cold for a cause! 💙❄️

Join us on Saturday, 20 June, from 10am–12pm as we take the plunge and help keep someone warm this winter.

Your entry ticket? Simple:
🧣 Bring a blanket.
🌊 Take the plunge (if you’re brave enough!).
❤️ Make a difference.

Every blanket collected will help bring warmth and comfort to vulnerable families this winter.

So, can we count you in? Gather your friends, bring a blanket, and let’s turn chilly waters into warm hearts.

Never underestimate the impact of consistent, positive mentors in a young person’s life. The small moments matter: showing up every day, planning lessons with intention, sharing laughs, offering encouragement and creating safe spaces where kids feel seen and valued.

Our facilitators do so much more than teach. They inspire, guide, uplift and remind our youth that they are capable of greatness.

You can be that too. We welcome volunteers and mentors to join and support our Education Programme - especially as we gear up for the June Exams.
