Stephanie Benjamin has a love for cooking. She turned her passion into a business called Steph’s Kitchen. Steph also has a love for people. Very soon, Steph added a CSI leg to her business: Steph’s Ladels of Love. Every month, she cooks up a storm (at least 80 litres of soup or food, whatever the Season) and takes it to the needy communities of Cape Town. Now you too can lend a hand by donating food (fresh, dried or ready-made), toys, blankets, towels, clothes, housewares or whatever you have spare. Please also don’t forget our furry friends by donating dog or cat food and bowls, blankets, towels…

This is a labour of love and we need your help.

Praise be to God for giving us another year to serve the community of Freedom Farm. Sunday marked our 14th year with Steph's Ladles of Love.
Thank you To all the volunteers, donors and sponsors who has been there for a short period and those who are still serving. This would not be possible without each and everyone of you.
This journey has taught me so much. Seeing through someone else's eyes. Showing my spirit and soul so much more than what there is to the everyday life.
We walk obliviously through life and sometimes fail to notice our surroundings.
Let us walk though this journey called life with compassion, kindness and humility. For we dont know what the next person is going through.

My biggest wish is that this story can inspire others to be of service in their own way to those in need.

With a grateful and humble heart I want to thank each and everyone who made yesterdays feeding possible.

It was once again so sad and difficult for me whilst serving the food. The need out there. I have no words. We are oblivious in so many ways daily because we are so caught up in our daily lives.

I would like to thank each and every volunteer, sponsors, donors and the genuine support of each and everyone of you.

May we look at our surroundings differently without judgement. Because we don't know what the next person is facing.

To the Almighty! Thank you for giving us the opportunity of serving our community in need.

Thanks be to God and to all who has contributed and donated towards the Soup kitchen on Sunday. Most importantly I would like to say very special thank you to the amazing people who cooked and served the community in my absence on Sunday

You are the beacon of light and hope when the dark clouds seem to creep in. You all are amazing and I really cannot do this without all of you!!!!!! May you all be blessed abundantly

As this is only the start of winter, I would like to take this moment to urge anyone that has any blankets and warm clothes, to please consider those in need before discarding it. It might not be perfect but for next person it means warmth and care.

In this volatile time we find ourselves in let us be mindful of the next person. Lets treat each other with love and Kindness.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed and assisted in Sunday's feeding day at Freedom Farm 🙏. Your kindness, generosity, and compassion have made a real difference in the lives of the families.

Through the grace of God, we've been able to provide nourishment and care to those in need, and it's all thanks to your selfless support. Your humility and willingness to lend a helping hand are a testament to the power of community and the impact we can have when we work together.

To each and every one who contributed and donated. I am so so grateful
Gratitude and kindness goes such a long. Not only do we help those in need but when you do it with a pure heart, with no expectations or returns, with humility and with kindness, You can actually feel the impact you make on someone else.

To the team, you are the true cornerstone of Stephs ladles of Love. The laughter, joy, advice, stories shared. Testimonials. The soup kitchen won't be what it is without all of you.
