Kate Church and Dr Vanessa Duthé combine practical veterinary care and scientific research to protect Africa's wildlife.

Kate manages African Wildlife Vets, providing essential veterinary support to wildlife protected areas, working behind the scenes to keep the organisation and its projects running.

Dr Vanessa Duthé is a conservation scientist whose research has focused largely on rhino conservation 🦏, helping to better understand these iconic animals and inform their long-term protection.

This Women's Month, we relate to the women protecting Africa's wildlife 🌍. Our partnership keeps that work going.

Today we celebrate the woman whose vision, passion and belief in the power of opportunity, brought Relate to life.

Lauren gives so much of herself to so many, and we’re incredibly grateful for her leadership, kindness, authenticity and extraordinary generosity of spirit. She has a way of making people feel seen and valued and that spirit is everything Relate stands for.

She truly is the heartbeat of Relate, and today we honour not only everything she has created, but the incredible human being behind it all.

Our Wellness Warehouse Women's Month bracelets support the all-female Black Mambas Anti-Poaching Unit, protecting endangered wildlife from poachers, and Relate, protecting the livelihoods of township women of all generations.

The Black Mambas are the world's first all-female wildlife ranger unit, formed in response to South Africa's rhino poaching crisis. Patrolling unarmed, they've reduced poaching incidents by 63% in the reserve they protect.

Dr Karin Lourens and the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital team wake each day to mend small broken animals, from servals 🐾 to pangolins, more than 147 species treated and released back into the wild.

Our intergenerational celebration brought Gogos, Tatas and the caring corporate partners who support our work together in one circle of connection, compassion and community. 🤝

Behind every elder is a lifetime of wisdom, resilience and stories that have helped shape South Africa. 🇿🇦 We believe those stories deserve to be heard.

So we listened. We shared. We laughed. And together, we made bracelets.

Every bracelet made is part of something bigger. The 67 Gogos campaign helps support more than 2,700 township elders through the Ikamva Labantu Senior Clubs.

Thank you to everyone who joined our circle. 🖤💛
