It’s the first Tuesday of the month, which means it’s time for another Teacher Tip from Teacher Tracy! 👩🏾‍🏫✨

This month, we’re focusing on learner movement and engagement. Instead of seeing movement as a distraction, let’s use it with purpose to help learners refocus, re-energise and stay engaged. 🧠⚡

🔬➗ Inspiring a Love for Science & Maths at Dr Van der Ross Primary School! 💙💛

Science and Maths are more than just subjects in the classroom, they equip learners with critical thinking, problem-solving skills and the confidence to explore the world around them! 🌍✨

Our Grade 7 Science Fun Day was filled with exploration, discovery and hands-on learning, inspiring learners to engage with Science in exciting and meaningful ways.

A special thank you to Professor Jonathan Jansen, Mr Malefo Makena and Miss Zukiswa Gala from the Metro North Education District for their presence and support in championing quality Science and Maths education.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr Van der Ross Primary School, its amazing staff and the school community for their warm welcome and support in making this event possible. 💙
