👗Our Remake programme helps aspiring sewing professionals start and grow their small businesses through their creativity, design and sewing skills. In this 2-year programme you will learn the business, life, financial and technical skills to access new markets, grow your customer base, become financially free and, most importantly, build and manage a sustainable sewing business.

Last week, TCB Remake had the opportunity to exhibit at Allfashion sourcing Cape Town at the CTICC, joining industry leaders, designers and manufacturers to explore the future of fashion. ♻️

Throughout the event, we shared how excess textiles and retail waste can be transformed into sustainable livelihoods through our Resell, Repair and Remake programmes, proving that circular fashion is about far more than reducing waste. It's about creating opportunity.

One of the highlights was seeing garments and products created by our talented Remake makers take to the runway during the TCB Designer Showcase, demonstrating how discarded materials can become beautiful, functional pieces with a story behind every stitch.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, watched the fashion show, asked questions and explored ways to partner with us.

We are incredibly honoured to have been named Social Enterprise of the Year at the CSI Legacy Awards. 💛 Receiving this recognition is a privilege, but more than anything, it is a celebration of the thousands of people, partners, and supporters who have been part of this journey over the past 16 years.

This award belongs to every entrepreneur who has chosen to build a better future, every retail and funding partner who has believed in our model, and every member of the TCB and Grow ECD teams who show up each day with purpose and heart.

A heartfelt thank you to the CSI Legacy Awards for this recognition, and congratulations to all the finalists and winners who are creating meaningful impact across South Africa.

Sometimes the most thoughtful ideas create the biggest impact. 💛

This Mandela Day, the Clicks Helping Hand Trust are helping to feed communities through its partnership with Gift of the Givers. Not only are they packing 2,500 sandwiches, they've also chosen to donate 2,500 beanies to help people face the winter with a little more comfort and care.

Here's what makes this initiative even more special. Instead of simply purchasing 2,500 beanies, Clicks commissioned TCB's Remake programme to make them from excess fabric. That one decision has created additional income opportunities for skilled seamstresses while giving unused materials a new purpose - helping to keep someone warm this winter.

We love seeing organisations think beyond the donation itself. Thank you, Clicks Helping Hand Trust, for creating impact that reaches every step of the journey.
