What an incredible day spent with fellow tablers at the annual Elgin 6-a-side cricket tournament!
The day kicked off bright and early at 7am — still dark, with the fields wet from the rain — but that didn’t dampen the competitive spirit one bit. The energy and determination on display set the tone for an unforgettable event.
A massive congratulations to Somerset West 31 for dominating the tournament and winning all their pool games to be crowned this year’s champions! 🏆👏
It was more than just cricket — a true family-filled day with great fellowship, laughter, and memories made all around.
A special thank you to Elgin for hosting such a well-organised and enjoyable event. Your effort and initiative truly made a difference!

Young men's fellowship at our club house! If you are looking for social club to join, with young like minded individuals, contact us. We do charity events as well as social. In todays day and age, where tech keeps people indoor more often than not, this is a place where you can make friends for life and help improve and support the local community, doing outreach work.

This past weekend we had the great pleasure of participating in PITCO (Paarl Inter Table Cook Off).

A fantastic time was had by all, enjoying the awesome atmosphere and great food prepared by all other Tables.

As the defending champs, we brought our best and participated with zeal and gees, and proudly took home second place.

Thanks to Round Table Paarl 44 for organising and hosting an awesome event.

Induction dinner done❗️

Last night we said a huge thank you to Cara-Charl Steinmann for his year's service to Somerset West 31 as our Honourable Chairman, along with his awesome out going council who served along with him.

We also had the privilege of welcoming back Aliston Beviss-Challinor for the second time as Chairman of Somerset West 31, being only the second person in our 68 year history to have done so.

Mr Chair, may you and your incoming council have a monumental year ahead in which you show us the way while leading from the chair 👀.
