🚗 Is a skipped service secretly killing your engine?
Every day, hundreds of high-speed moving parts work under intense heat and pressure to keep your vehicle moving. Without fresh oil, that smooth performance quickly turns into heavy friction, engine-destroying sludge, and catastrophic repair bills.
As automotive specialists, we don’t just change oil—we protect your investment. Regular servicing improves fuel efficiency, catches dangerous wear-and-tear issues early, and ensures your vehicle is 100% road-safe.
With today's rise in the cost of living, this can be vital!
Don't wait for a warning light to flash.

Stop guessing. Stop safely. 🛑
That little squeak you hear at the stoplight? It's not going away on its own. Worn-out brake pads can damage your rotors and cost you double in repairs down the road.

✅ Safe & Ready (Left ): A healthy pad should show a thick block of friction material (about 10–12mm).
❌ Danger Zone (Right): If the friction block between the metal backing plate and the rotor looks thinner than a coin (under 3mm), your brakes are overdue for a swap.

Not sure what you're looking at if you want to check your own brakes?
Snap a quick photo through your wheel and send it to our WhatsApp! We'll take a look for free!

🎉 Wait... has it really been 3 years already?!
Pretty Sure Lourens & Steph have aged 10 years since they started 😅

Back in 2023 we opened up shop in the Deep South not really knowing what to expect, and here we are - still going, still covered in oil, still ridiculously grateful. 😅

To everyone in Sunnydale, Noordhoek, Fish Hoek, Kommetjie and all around - thank you for trusting us with your cars (your babies, we know 🚗💜). Whether it was a quick check-up or a "please just make that weird noise stop," we've loved being part of your journeys (literally).

We've put together a few memories from the last 3 years - the growth, the good days, the grateful moments, and honestly, a lot of blessings along the way. Have a look 👇

Still parked at Real Key Park, 22 Lekkerwater Rd, Sunnydale - kettle's always on, and Lourens is always happy to chat cars (or life) ☕

⚠️ Warning light on? Strange noise you can't place? Steering feeling a bit loose?

Small stuff like this doesn't stay small for long — better to get it looked at now than pay for it later. That's really what we're about at Mercy Motors: honest diagnosis, proper work, and no guessing games.

We handle pretty much everything on your car:

Diagnostics & electrical faults
Minor and major services, all makes and models
Brakes, suspension, clutches, gearboxes
Engine rebuilds, parts fitting, and panelbeating
We also sell reliable used vehicles, if you're in the market!

If it's wrong with your car, chances are we've fixed it before. Pop in and see us.

🛑 3 signs your brakes are trying to tell you something:

Squealing or grinding when you stop
Brake pedal feels soft or spongy
Steering wheel shakes when you brake

Any of these sound familiar? Worth getting checked before it becomes a bigger (and pricier) problem.

We're running 20% off brake services for the rest of August — good timing if you've been putting it off.

DON'T MISS OUT!!! if you havent yet seen our current special...
We're turning 3 this month 🎉 and to celebrate, we're doing something a bit different.

For the rest of August, get 20% off minor services and brake work at Mercy Motors — and when you book, nominate a woman in your life who inspires you. Could be your mom, your gran, a friend, a colleague, anyone. Three of the women you nominate will win a R1000 voucher for their own car care.

Simple as that. Your brakes get sorted, your car's safer for the school run or the drive out to the Peninsula, and someone who deserves it gets a little something back.

Bookings are open now — August is nearly done so don't leave it too late.
