OUR MISSION
To increase the Malaysians footprint in the global economic landscape Registered as a Non Profitable organisation (Reg No: 2007/034075/08)
under the mandate of the Malaysian External Trade Development Agency (MATRADE) and Malaysian International Trade Industry (MITI) the council was commissioned to:
1. To bring together Malaysians residing in South Africa through
Educational, soci
al, cultural, sporting and economic activities.
2. To foster closer understanding and cooperation between Malaysians
And South Africans.
3. To promote and foster trading, commercial, financial, industrial, and
General economic relations between South Africa and Malaysia.
4. To advise and assist members in the development of economic
Relations between the two countries.
5. To represent members in dealings with Government of South Africa ,diplomatic, consular , trade or commercial missions in South Africa and other bodies or persons pursuing the objectives of the MBCSA.
6. To provide a forum on an organized, continuing basis in which South African businessmen can discuss and identify common interest regarding their trade and commercial interest South Africa and or Malaysia.
7. To make representation or to present views and opinions through the MBCSA in Malaysia to the Malaysian Government, private sector and general public.
8. To consider all legislation, or proposed legislation, affecting or likely to affect directly or indirectly any trade and commerce between South Africa and Malaysia and to take such steps in regards thereto as any is deemed advisable.
9. To maintain contact the South African and Malaysian Governments to keep the MBCSA abreast with all policy and thinking of those Government on trade, commercial and related matters.
10. To promote measures calculated to benefit and protect the interest of members.
11. To encourage members to adopt and maintain a high standard of business conduct and ethics.
12. To associate and cooperate with other organizations sharing mutual interest.
13. To promote goodwill and cooperation between South Africa and Malaysia and the citizens thereof.
14. To promote Malaysian Culture, Foods, Music and Malaysia as tourist destination through various marketing strategy with Malaysia High Commission and Malaysia Trade Center.
