LP Angela Niehaus visited Bergvliet High School this morning to collect 7 black bags of lost property collected since the end of last year along with 2 bags of brown school shoes from last year's matric class. There are still other bags waiting to be collected.

These items will be donated to children in need.

Bergvliet Lions Club LP Angela Niehaus was at Rosedon this morning tending the vegetable garden. Residents were eager to assist and could be found weeding beds and watering plants. Today's harvest includes cabbage and spring onion, with beetroot plants being placed in the gaps.

Thank your LP for your dedication to this project!

Lion President Angela Niehaus visits Rosedone House in Rondebosch East every week to tend the 12 x 2 meter planter boxes which were sponsored by the club in February 2026.

The residential facility for 45 Cerebral Palsy adults has benefited from the vegetable garden in more ways than one. Positioned at wheelchair height, the boxes are accessible to all residents who wish to assist in caring for the crop, despite their physical restrictions. In the past few weeks, they have harvested Broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots and lots of spinach & celery.

If you would like to be part of our dynamic team, serving the community, please DM or email [email protected] for more information.
