I was diagnosed with a Metastatic Pinealoblastoma(a type of brain cancer). Please follow and like my page for more details On 7 August 2019, I was diagnosed with a Metastatic Pinealoblastoma (a type of brain cancer). On the 15th August 2019, I was operated on to remove the tumour and spent 3 months in hospital. After intensive chemotherapy and Craniospinal radiotherapy, a repeat MRI done 27 August
2020 showed complete remission
Unfortunately on the 21st March 2022 the Pinealoblastoma returned on multiple parts of my brain. Unfortunetly my Prognosis is Terminal with a life expectancy of 1 year maximum. Currently I am on oral Chemotherapy which will continue till the end. Family, Friends & Strangers, my dream is to visit the Kruger National Park (I love the BIG 5). Because of my illness, the medical bills are piling up and will continue to do so. I know that this outreach will not just fullfill my dream but will also assist my parents Jeanine and Granville financially to cover some medical costs of my treatments. My condition is deteriorating rapidly. My wish is to still able to absorb and appreciate the experience and to create irreplaceable memories for myself and my Mom and Dad. Medically my treatments are intensifying which is impacting me physically and mentally. Our current aim is to fullfill my dying wish of visiting the Kruger National Park the 1st week of June 2022, as the 3rd Phase of his ongoing treatment commences mid May and therefore we are aiming to reach a total of R40 000,00 by the end of May 2022. The trip entails accommodation, care and travel (as I am unable to fly due to my condition). Additional Medical costs which we estimate will be in the region of R70 000,00 which will cover ongoing medical treatments. I know that many, if not all of us, are experiencing some form of hardship but I am appealing to your better nature as parents, grand-parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, friends and family to assist us (Connor’s Family) to fullfill this beautiful child’s wish. No amount is too big or too small, so any contribution will make the biggest difference. It is likely you know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer – perhaps you or your mom or dad; a relative, a co-worker, a neighbour or even a friend – someone in your life’s circle who has heard the words, “You have cancer.”
