Today we honour Child Protection Professionals โ€” the ones who choose the hardest path in social work. Long nights, heavy caseloads, and decisions no one should have to make. It's some of the toughest work there is. But it's also some of the most rewarding: every child kept safe, every family healed, every bit of trust rebuilt is a future changed forever.

These professionals don't just respond to crises โ€” they shape futures and protect the vulnerable; they stand between vulnerability and harm.

To every social worker doing this work: thank you for showing up for the children who need you most. You are shaping the world, one child at a time.
