Children With a Need Children With a Need is a registered NPO that feeds the Ocean View children in Cape Town.

Children With a Need has been providing meals to those within our Ocean View community that don't have the means to support themselves since 2006. At first to seniors but it was soon clear there was especially a big need to feed the children. The Covid pandemic has hit our community hard and the need for food support keeps growing. Currently, we are able to provide two meals a day, seven days a we

ek, to 220 people every day of the week, divided over two locations within Ocean View. Where possible we try to hand out clothing and books to the children as well. Since 2012 we have been organizing an annual Christmas party for the children. We rely mainly on donations, money or supplies, to keep our feeding scheme going. For only R35 a day we are able to provide one child with two meals a day. Our aim/dream is to get regular financial donors in order to be able to keep feeding as many Ocean View children as possible.
