Grade 12 learners at recently handpicked fresh herbs straight from the garden to bake delicious garlic bread for their Consumer Studies practical, and what a full-circle moment it was!🌱🍞

These girls have been part of the Roots of Hope journey from the very beginning, starting right back at the cleaning and preparation stages. To now see them harvesting, creating, and learning through something they helped build… that’s the real reward.

This is what it looks like when young people are given space to grow, not just in skill, but in ownership, pride, and possibility 🤍
