Today we say see you soon & hopefully not goodbye to our very special coordinator Tali Scher 🤍🩸

Tal joined the Mama Flo team to keep our admin and operations afloat while supporting us with the day to day running of Mama Flo!

We’re truly grateful to have had her (and of course her family because Mama Flo likes to bring everyone in) help us through some of our busier and more tricker times.

On behalf of everyone at Mama Flo, a huge huge thank you and good luck on your next chapter 🤍🧡 Thanks for being such an inspiration to everyone at Mama Flo!

Mama Flo always does our best to accommodate requests from all around us. More so when these requests are coming from other incredible female leaders working to better their communities 💕👏🏻

Earlier this month we were happy to support thunariso organic garden / Thozama Siswana for her Women’s Day Health & Hygiene Event !

We love how Mama Flo’s community has evolved and grown to be able to support others doing the same important work as us. It’s important to work together, to not operate in silos and to share our resources, time and kindness where-ever we can!

On behalf of everyone at Mama Flo, we cannot thank TRAVEL | PHOTOGRAPHY & Micaela for completing Three Peaks yesterday and raising over R22 000 for Mama Flo 👏🏻🗻❤️🩸

Three peaks is a mountain running challenge in Cape Town which involves running up & down some of Cape Town’s most beautiful (but challenging) mountains.

We’re blown away by your commitment & resilience for such an important cause! There aren’t enough words to say how grateful Mama Flo is!

Mama Flo was very proud to support SAUJS Stellies in their dignity/hygiene packs for their Women’s Day!

We donated pads of single use pads which were delivered to young women in need with various items but especially with hand written notes 🤍🩸👏🏻

We were honoured to support APHA (Advocates for the Prevention of HIV in Africa) during their wellness day for young women. 💜❤️🩸

Through their community work, APHA creates safe spaces for conversations around HIV prevention, SRHR, GBV, healthy relationships, and other important social issues. During this project, period poverty emerged as a key challenge, highlighting the importance of addressing menstrual health alongside broader community wellbeing.

As part of our commitment to ending period poverty, we donated sanitary products to help ensure that every participant had access to essential menstrual care. Together, we’re helping to restore dignity, empower young women, and create healthier, more supported communities.

Thank you, APHA, for the incredible work you do. 🩷✨

Mandela Day reminds us that lasting change begins with simple acts of service. ❤️🤍🩸🇿🇦

At Mama Flo, we believe that empowering women starts with dignity, education, and access to menstrual health. No girl or woman should miss school, work, or opportunities because of period poverty.

This Mandela Day, let’s honour Madiba’s legacy by standing together to break the stigma, support menstrual equity, and create a future where every woman and girl can thrive.

Because when we uplift women, we uplift communities.

Donate R67 to Mama Flo today and help us in the fight against period poverty ❤️
