False Bay: Heavy Machinery, Real Change on the Soet River ππ
The restoration of the Soet River is moving forward β and this time you see the excavator hard at work clearing years of pollution, dumping, and environmental damage from this vital waterway.
The Soet River flows through our communities and into the ocean of False Bay, which means every bit of waste removed here helps protect our neighbourhoods, our coastline, and our marine life.
Making a Change is proud to work alongside the City of Cape Town and local community members to restore, clean, and protect the Soet River for future generations.
This is more than a cleanup β itβs a step toward rebuilding pride, protecting our environment, and showing what can happen when people come together with one purpose: making a difference.
From the riverbanks of Strand to the waters of False Bay, every action matters.
Together, we can create cleaner rivers, healthier oceans, and stronger communities.
