22/03/2026
Saturday 21st March we not only celebrated Human Rights Day but we also celebrated World Down-Syndrome Day.
And as always CHARS would reach out to the community as we spread awareness.
This year things was done a little different.
Last week Sunday I was privilege to attend the launch of the Joshlin Smith Foundation hosted by and .
We were then inspired to do our "fingerprint project early this year, where we filled in forms where we help community parents and caregivers with a document that list all personal information of the child including the fingerprint of he child. ( the parent/guardian keep that document safe in case of emergency)
Our aim this 21/03 /2026 was to spread awareness and to show all life matters and also in the hope to bring more attention to the Disability Sector.
We at CHARS are not a political party but we will work with anyone who pledge that the Disability Sector is important and who is willing to listen to the concerns of the mommies who have children diagnosed with disabilities.
