The Allan Gray Scholarship Programme wasn't designed for a particular type of school, background, or region. It was designed for learners with potential, curiosity, and the drive to make meaningful use of the opportunity in front of them.

If your child is in Grade 6 this year and meets the requirements, you owe it to them to apply.

DIRECTORS' DAY | SEF

Our Director, Wendy Abrahams, had the privilege of attending the first-ever Directors' Day hosted by The Learning Trust as part of the Social Employment Fund (SEF). It was a valuable day of learning, reflection, honest conversations and strategic thinking with fellow directors from across the SEF partner network.

We shared experiences, explored challenges and strengthened our commitment to working together towards a common purpose.

At Advance Edukos Foundation, we believe that collaboration makes our collective impact stronger. Thank you to The Learning Trust and the Catch-Up Coalition for creating this important space for connection, learning and leadership.

✨ **Term 3 Literacy Programme – Day 1!** 📚🎉

We had a wonderful start to our Term 3 Literacy Programme! Today, our learners spent the day in the library, enjoying a fun-filled session with exciting literacy games and activities. 📖🎲

It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and lots of fun as learners were given the opportunity to simply enjoy themselves while engaging with literacy in a playful way. 🌟

This year, we’re celebrating After School Programmes under the theme:

Switched ON! 💡 Ready to Learn. Ready to Play. Ready to Grow.

The theme shines a spotlight on the powerful role After School Programmes (ASPs) play in shaping the lives of learners and the young people who support them.

Every day, ASPs are keeping opportunities switched on beyond the school day — creating spaces where young people can continue learning, discover new interests, build confidence, develop skills and simply have space to play, learn and grow.

From homework support and sport to arts, culture, mentorship, coding, leadership and so much more, every programme has a role to play in helping young people imagine what’s possible.

This campaign is for everyone who believes in the power of what happens after school.

Whether you are an After School Programme, school, parent, learner, practitioner, organisation or supporter, there is a place for you in Lights On After School 2026.
