What a powerful and life-transforming Sabbath in the presence of the Lord! 🙌🏽
Through the story of Isaac and Rebekah in the book of Genesis, we were reminded that the God we serve is faithful, a God of fulfilment, and a Promise-Keeping God! He hears our prayers, remains faithful to His Word, and fulfils His promises according to His will and purpose.
As believers, we are called to trust Him, seek His direction, walk in obedience, and remain faithful to the assignments He has entrusted to us.
🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS
🔹 In the midst of chaos, enquire of the Lord. When challenges arise, do not merely present your problems to God; seek His wisdom, direction, and understanding.
🔹 Some situations require spiritual understanding. There are circumstances in life that call for more than simply praying about the problem. We must enquire of the Lord to understand what we are experiencing and how He wants us to respond.
🔹 God hears our prayers. As we pray, we must believe, trust in His faithfulness, and remain steadfast while waiting for His promises to manifest.
🔹 Do not allow the flesh to lead you. Sometimes we fail to fulfil God’s assignments because we are not spiritually aligned with His will and purpose. We must learn to walk in the Spirit and follow God’s direction rather than our own understanding.
🔹 God will sustain you in your assignment. When God calls you, He is able to sustain you throughout the journey. Your responsibility is to say YES to His will, remain obedient, and faithfully fulfil your calling.
🔹 Blessings require honour. We sometimes desire blessings without considering the obedience, faithfulness, and honour that God requires from us.
🔹 Some blessings require action. Faith must be accompanied by obedience and the willingness to act according to God’s instructions. Do not only pray for the promise; be ready to obey the One who made it!
REMEMBER: The God who made the promise is faithful to His Word. Trust His timing, seek His direction, honour Him through your obedience, and remain faithful to your assignment!
