The group ventured onto the Vlakkenberg trail, Constantia, where they met a German drone photographer- Jurgen, who captured this moment where the youth were surrounded by the extraordinary Cape Town landscape. Klim Dassies hosted a hike on Sunday, 3rd of August 2025 with Manenberg People's Centre

The hike was from Constantia Neck all the way to the foot of Skeleton Gorge. It was a fairly flat walk and was marked with one South African flag and one Palestinian Flag to acknowledge the pain and struggles of all children/young adults within our communities and communities across the globe that are affected by violence, starvation and a failed justice system.

Everyone enjoyed it and we are looking forward to our next one!

Klim Dassies hike with visionchild. After a long break, the Visionchild AndYouth CareCentre boys took to the mountain after Fajr and experienced the tranquility of nature on the Bel Ombre hike. What beautiful views.
