✨ What an incredible three-and-a-half weeks it was with the Mama Project! ✨

It was such a privilege to collaborate with this year’s Mama Project, themed “I Am Light.”

Every year, the Mama Project brings together an inspiring community of women from different communities and backgrounds to share life, encourage one another, and journey together. This year, over 60 women gathered once again to create, reflect, and celebrate the light within

ArtWorks had the joy of once again contributing to this project by helping curate the music and movement for the women’s final presentation at YWAM Muizenberg. Seeing the ladies take to the stage with such confidence, joy, and unity was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people create together.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible ArtWorks artists that’s took part on this project:

This session features the incredible Mwezi Baweze , an Afro-soul singer and songwriter known for his heartfelt storytelling and organic sound. From national radio play and television performances to major brand collaborations, Baweze continues to establish himself as one of the most exciting voices in the scene, and we’re proud to have natured part of his journey here at ArWorks.
