Heavenly Father
On this World Day of Prayer, we come before You with humble and grateful hearts. Thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and the gift of another day. We lift up our families, our communities, and especially the children of our nation into Your hands.
Lord, today we pray for peace in a world that is facing so much conflict and war. We ask that You bring healing where there is pain, comfort where there is loss, and peace where there is violence. Touch the hearts of leaders and nations so that they may choose wisdom, compassion, and unity over division.
Father, we also lift up our country, South Africa, and our government into Your hands. Grant wisdom, integrity, and compassion to those who lead our nation. Help them to make decisions that protect the people, uplift the vulnerable, and bring justice and opportunity for all.
Lord, remind us that even in difficult times, You are still in control. Help us to be people of faith, hope, and kindness bringing light wherever we go and putting smiles on the faces of those around us, especially the children.
We trust You, Lord, and we place our world, our country, and our future in Your hands.
