Howard Williams Belthorn Rustdale Ratepayers Association Today’s Boerie roll initiative hosted by the Belthorn Neighbourhood Watch was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a common purpose. The event not only created a family-friendly space for residents to connect, but also raised much-needed support for ongoing neighbourhood safety initiatives.
The Lansdowne CPF was proud to support this initiative and stand alongside the NHW members who continue to give their time, energy and resources to keep our community safe. Visible support, positive engagement and collaboration like this strengthen trust and reinforce the partnership between residents, NHWs, SAPS and the CPF.
Community-driven initiatives play a vital role in sustaining neighbourhood watches — from equipment and visibility to operational support. When residents support these efforts, they are directly investing in the safety and wellbeing of their own streets and families.
We thank everyone who attended, contributed and showed their support today. Together, we continue to build safer, stronger communities because safety is everyone’s responsibility.
