Atlas SA is absolutely delighted to launch a new project, The Villager ATLAS Programme, in partnership with and the in Cape Town. Atlas will oversee the rugby coaching of 50 young girls and boys from the Dominican Deaf School who will be coached in a twice weekly rugby programme throughout the year at Villager FC. The coaches who have dedicated themselves to the Atlas programme are from Villager FC, Girl Power Rugby Academy and the school 🏉💙
These hearing impaired youngsters have an exceptionally tough time and many come from extremely challenging backgrounds. The opportunity to bring these young girls and boys together to run and have the freedom of restrictions, is beyond liberating and there is no doubt that they will flourish both on and off the field. We can’t wait to bring them together with other youngsters in our Atlas Programme across Cape Town and nurture the experience as they learn about each other’s worlds....long may Atlas SA continue to shine the light on the upliftment of young girls and boys to better journeys.
