This creature is a local shredder from Cape Town giving the local scene a taste for better music. Playing for a handful of local bands (Los Sueños, Die Bergies, Die Kraaines Band, Filthy Hippies and a sit-in percussionist for Moskitos)

He will be providing some heavy psych-boogie strictly on wax for a lekka midnight kop skud on the 30th September at Surfa.

Hi everyone!

Local Band Shirt Day is a non-profit initiative (and hopefully a public holiday in the future) to support local bands in South Africa by promoting their merchandise, creating more awareness about all the fantastic music we have in this country and having a fun party to celebrate it.

What we want to do is create a supportive and caring community initiative, not just with bands/artists but also the fans. Without your love & support none of this matters.

So on the 30th of September put on your favourite local bands shirt/patch/hat/pin, take a photo and tag us Local Band Shirt Day SA on either Facebook or Instagram and we will share it.

If you are in Cape Town we will be having a free party to celebrate the first annual band shirt day at SurfaRosa. There will be DJ sets by various band members and also other people involved in our wonderful local music scene. Event will be launched soon!
