What an unforgettable Toastmasters evening at Cape Town Club 2249 .... Chasing Rainbows indeed!

Last Wednesday’s meeting was pure magic from the very first “Call to Order” by Chris Adlam, stepping in as Sergeant at Arms, right through to the awards. Dawn Corin led the meeting beautifully as Toastmaster of the evening, keeping everyone engaged and the whole room glowing.

We celebrated two huge milestones on the same night:
Deidre Lewis delivered her sparkling Icebreaker “What My Family Thinks I Do” and won Best Speaker – what an incredible debut!

Jason Scott completed his Pathway with “The Good, the Bad, and the Unknown – Reflect on Your Path”.
Jasmina Rahic also delivered a strong Dynamic Leadership speech.

Shout-out to our evaluators: Kerri-Lea Adlam, Chris Adlam, and John Hambleton (Best Evaluator).

Brave Table Topics participants hosted by Wayne Robinson: Talitha, Devin, Robert, Shaun, Reggie & Rubin. Well done to Devin for winning Best Table Topics!

We even worked in the Word of the Day “futile”… which was completely futile to resist using!
Huge thanks to President Wayne Robinson and the whole team.

Milestones, growth, and laughter in one night – couldn’t be prouder of the club!

Next meeting: 13 May. See you there!

Practice makes perfect, they say.

Jasmina Rahic just delivered her 4th Toastmasters speech and absolutely NAILED IT!

"So many nerves, but all that practice paid off. Feeling incredibly proud for overcoming my fear and sharing a good message. This journey is all about growth, confidence, and becoming more articulate!

If you're looking to boost your public speaking skills and conquer those fears, seriously, you HAVE to check out Toastmasters. It's a game-changer!", Jasmine Rahic.

Overcoming fear and growing through Toastmasters makes it a highly recommended experience.
