Today, we stand with the global epilepsy community in celebrating International Epilepsy Day 💜
At 1cc Foundation, we believe that awareness leads to understanding, understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance leads to change. Epilepsy affects millions of people worldwide, yet stigma and misinformation still hold too many back from living fully and freely.
Today is about amplifying voices, honoring resilience, supporting families, and advocating for better care, inclusion, and opportunities for every person living with epilepsy.
Let’s keep the conversation going—not just today, but every day.
Together, we can create a world where epilepsy is understood, supported, and never a barrier to dignity or dreams.
💜 Stand with us. Share awareness. Spark change.

Hi everyone the 1cc team is transporting a patient with CKD stage 5 secondary to steroid resistant FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis).

It’s frequently a progressive condition resulting in end stage renal disease, a severe kidney disease defined by a lack of improvement in proteinuria or remission after 4-6 weeks of high dose corticosteroid therapy. There have been no reports of effective treatment for this condition.

Hi everyone, the 1CC team is transporting a patient with Pseudomonas meningitis.

Pseudomonas meningitis is a rare, severe, and often fatal infection of the central nervous system, typically occurring as a nosocomial infection following neurosurgery, trauma, or spinal anesthesia.

It is characterized by acute or subacute meningitis, requiring rapid diagnosis via CSF culture and intensive treatment with antibiotics such as ceftazidime, often in combination with aminoglycosides or intrathecal therapy.

Today, on World Cancer Day (04 February 2026), we stand united for every life touched by cancer.
At 1cc Foundation, we believe that every single cubic centimeter of hope matters — in early detection, in timely treatment, in compassion, and in community. Cancer is more than a diagnosis; it’s a journey that no one should have to walk alone.
Today is about awareness, action, and solidarity. It’s about honoring fighters, celebrating survivors, remembering loved ones, and committing ourselves to a future where cancer care is accessible, humane, and hopeful for all.
Together, we can create change. Together, we can save lives.
💙 Because hope begins with the 1cc Foundation.

Hi everyone, the 1CC team is transporting a patient with Hyaline membrane disease

Hyaline membrane disease, or neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, is a critical lung disorder in premature infants caused by a lack of surfactant, leading to alveoli collapse, severe breathing difficulties, and hypoxia.

It primarily affects babies born before 32 weeks gestation, with symptoms peaking at 48–72 hours.

Treatment includes artificial surfactant, respiratory support (CPAP, ventilators), and, in some cases, steroids.

Hi everyone, the 1CC team is transporting a patient with RDS and NNJ.

"RDS" and "NNJ" are abbreviations commonly used in a medical context, particularly in neonatology, for Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Neonatal Jaundice, respectively. RDS is a common breathing problem in newborns, mainly premature infants, caused by a lack of surfactant.

Surfactant is a slippery substance in the lungs that helps keep the tiny air sacs (alveoli) from collapsing and allows them to fill with air.NNJ is a common condition where a newborn's skin and eyes appear yellow due to high levels of bilirubin in the blood (hyperbilirubinemia)

Hi everyone the 1cc team is transporting a patient with Nosocomial Pneumonia.

Nosocomial pneumonia or hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) is defined as pneumonia that occurs 48 hours or more after hospital admission and is not present at the admission time.

Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) represents a significant sub-set of HAP occurring in intensive care units (ICUs) and is thought to affect 10% to 20% of patients receiving mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours.

Hi everyone, the 1CC team is transporting a patient with Gastric ulcers.

Gastric ulcers, or stomach ulcers, are open sores on the stomach lining, often causing burning abdominal pain, indigestion, and nausea, typically resulting from H. pylori bacterial infection or long-term use of NSAIDs (like ibuprofen).

While often treatable with antibiotics, acid reducers, and lifestyle changes, they can be serious, so seeing a doctor for diagnosis and treatment (which might include avoiding alcohol, smoking, and NSAIDs) is crucial to prevent complications like bleeding or perforation.
