Two drop offs, one last week and the other this morning. Like the blankets have a look at the details in the jerseys (the buttons, the label and the matching patterns of the jersey & beanie. This is the power of social media . Again there are not enough words to say thank you for your time , effort and generosity. Help keep babies warm by knitting, recruiting knitters or donating wool be it new or leftovers from projects. 🙏🙏🙏

One an older pic and the other of blankets received last week. Again the biggest thank you. The weather is turning so please pull out those knitting needles/crochet hooks and create something to keep vulnerable babies warm.

An unexpected delivery on one of the hottest days in Cape Town. Remember our weather here can turn very quickly so despite the heat, please continue knitting so that then the cooler weather sets in , babies will be warm . A big big thank you .🙏

These beautiful octopi came all the way from Isle of Wight accompanied by this note. They will be delivered to an organisation that helps prem babies . Emma’s sister contacted us through social media and had them delivered . Again a big thank you to all of you who play a a role no matter how big/small . Every little bit makes a difference.

The power of social media. This knitter donates regularly to the Knitting Fairies even though we have never met her as she lives on the other side of Cape Town . Her mom always delivers. Photos do no justice for each individually wrapped jersey and soft toy and a beautiful ombré blanket . There are not enough words to say thank you to you all who are involved either by knitting, donating wool , recruiting knitters or even delivering. Every little effort adds up .🙏
