Yesterday, the Liga da Liga Da Mulher Portuguesa - Cidade Do Cabo hosted a Sip & Paint. The session was led by Marise George, an artist, designer and lecturer.
Some ladies began the afternoon nervously painting but by the end of the session. had created beautiful paintings. We also leant that we have so many talented ladies in the group. Lots of laughter, great conversations and a beautiful afternoon was had by all. Great memories were made.
The ladies enjoyed the amazing wine sponsored by Constantia Wine and Craft. Thank you Tony Da Costa - are are the best!

In 2019, the Liga Da Mulher Portuguesa - Cidade Do Cabo hosted its first over 40s Mrs Portugal pageant. 12 remarkable ladies over the age of 40 took part, with our eldest being 74.

The intention of the pageant was never about beauty or body shape. It was about embracing your authentic self.
It wasn't about winning - it was about the fun and the experience. It was about meeting other ladies, forming friendships, building confidence and supporting one another.
The ladies remain friends until this day. Beautiful memories were made and still spoken about today.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2nd over 40s Mrs Portugal Pageant on 18th July 2026.
Same intentions, greater memories.
