In the Month of Love, Let's Share the Gift of Hope 🌸

This February, I had the privilege of visiting a remarkable young lady who has shown incredible strength in her battle with stomach cancer. After weeks of chemotherapy, she recently underwent a major surgery to remove her stomach in the hopes of defeating this disease. Her story touched my heart, and I know it will inspire you as well.

🗣️ Her Journey: "In September 2024, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer, a reality that changed my life completely. Since then, I’ve been receiving chemotherapy every two weeks, which meant I could no longer work as an Assistant Accountant. In January 2025, I underwent surgery to remove my entire stomach. I’m now in recovery, but I still need chemotherapy to ensure the cancer doesn’t return.

Having grown up as an orphan, I’ve always been self-sufficient. But now, I find myself in a position where I need help to cover my essential living costs and follow a special diet required for my treatment and recovery."

I am filled with immense gratitude and joy as I reflect on our recent initiative at SNC-TAX through our NPO, Sanctioning National Causes. With the incredible support of our donors and partners, we were able to donate 166 pairs of school shoes to underprivileged learners in Mdantsane on the 30th of July. Special thanks to the Professional Retirees Association of South Africa (PRASA) for their collaboration and support. Mdantsane FM was also there at Nowonga Primary School to support the community.
Inspired by the empowering work of FASSET CEO, Ms. Ayanda Mafuleka, who is championing 1,000 women leaders, I am excited to begin our journey to provide shoes to 1,000 learners over the next 8 months. This is just the beginning, and I invite you all to join us in following in Mandela's footsteps to empower others. Together, we embody the spirit of UBUNTU. 🙏💖

Sanctioning National Causes powered by SNC-TAX partnered with the Professional retirees association of south Africa (PRASA) in East London to provide 162 school shoes to these lovely kids. We are blessed when we see the fruits of our Faith Project on which we are still pursuing the goal of 1000 school shoes to donate within 2024 and do the same every year thereafter. The shoes may mean the difference between a child having hope and pursuing their or someone being demotivated as a result of bullying and dropping out of school and adding to the rising .
