Tunnel Navigation NPO has the privilege of facilitating meaningful life skills and self-awareness engagement sessions with the incredible learners of Astra School for learners with Educational Needs.

As an organisation committed to youth empowerment, mentorship, emotional development and community upliftment, Tunnel Navigation NPO continues to create safe spaces where young people can openly engage in conversations that build confidence, accountability and hope for the future.

These sessions focused on the importance of consistent boundaries, positive behaviour, emotional awareness and understanding the impact that choices, attitudes and environments can have on personal growth. Through honest conversation and interactive discussions, learners were encouraged to reflect on their own behaviour, recognise their strengths and understand the value of respect, discipline and healthy decision-making.

The atmosphere throughout the session was powerful. The workshops reflect genuine participation, attentive listening and learners feeling comfortable enough to express themselves within a supportive environment. Seeing learners gathered in circles, engaging openly and respectfully, reminded us that true impact often begins with conversation, encouragement and simply making young people feel seen, heard and valued

Astra School continues to play an incredible role in creating an inclusive, caring and supportive environment for learners with diverse needs. The school’s commitment to learner wellbeing, development and emotional support is truly inspiring and aligns strongly with the values that Tunnel Navigation NPO stands for.

A heartfelt thank you to the School and Principal Melanie Mbotha for welcoming us so warmly and for allowing Tunnel Navigation NPO the opportunity to contribute towards the growth, self-awareness and future potential of these amazing learners.

Together, we continue building communities rooted in compassion, guidance and positive change.

Clothing Hand Out in the community of Belhar!

What an Always Amazing Experience to see the joy and excitement when the children get to shop for their own pre-loved clothes.

Our children and adults in our communities struggle with clothes and shoes to keep them warm and we are so grateful for those that chose us as an organization to donate too.

We could not have done this without you.

For those that would love to participate in our next one, we collect through the year and are willing to collect closest to our organisation or you are most welcome to do a drop off at 11 Papendorp Way, Belhar, ext 13, Cape Town.

Here are some images of today.
