THEY ALL HAD NAMES.

Several women have been found in and around Kempton Park, and some of them are still lying in a mortuary with no name attached.

And this is not only Kempton Park. Between April and June this year, 569 women were murdered in South Africa. That is about six every day.

Not one of them invited this. Not her route, not her clothing, not the hour she walked home. The burden of this violence does not belong to women.

We are praying. We are also saying what must be said. Men, speak to the men around you. Confront the cruelty that everybody laughs off. If you know something, report it.

Silence does not protect her. It protects him.
Say all their names!
