Yesterday I was recognised as an impact award winner for my work in starting (and leaving) Our Workshop. I’m very grateful for this small act of recognition and to for dedicating the theme of this year’s to the concept of Impact in the realm of design. I am talking about this journey, my process and the idea of design as active and inclusive. My presentation starts at 14:00 on Sunday 9 June 2024 at Future Talks Africa at the CTICC.

I think it’s about time to say that Our Workshop is a full-on success. It is totally independent of me and it is a working, beneficial space for the Langa community. People first always.
