A huge thank you to our traffic department for spending time with our learners and teaching them about road safety 🚦🚧🚎 Our learners thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned valuable skills about crossing the road safely, recognizing traffic signs and signals and staying safe as pedestrians.

Vroom vroom! 🚙💨 Our Grade Rs are on the move!

This week our Grade R theme is TRANSPORT!
- This week the children will learn about: Types of transport - Land 🚗🚌, Air ✈️🚁, and Water 🚤⛵
- People who help us - Drivers, pilots, conductors, traffic officers. - - - Road safety - Traffic lights, road signs, looking both ways, wearing seatbelts
- Sounds of transport - "beep beep", "choo choo", "vroom vroom"
- Sorting & counting - How many wheels?
- Fast vs slow vehicles
- Crafts & role play - Making vehicles, building roads, pretending to travel.
They’re so excited to explore how we get from A to B!
