Today, we officially launch the Sharing Stories by Shanz (SSBS) Mentorship Programme for Young Women. This programme was born from a deep awareness that many young women are talented, capable, and ambitious, yet often face systemic, social, and internal barriers that delay or derail their leadership and career advancement.

⚠️ SSBS exists to change that⚠️

This is more than mentorship.
➡️It is structured development.
➡️It is community-based growth.
➡️It is a safe space for honest conversations.
➡️It is intentional leadership cultivation.

📚 🤗 Through guided sessions, reflection booklets, mentorship conversations, and practical tools grounded in personal development and gender-conscious leadership, we are equipping young women to:
• Build confidence and self-leadership
• Navigate career advancement intentionally
• Understand and challenge gender-based barriers

The SSBS Mentorship Programme is a 6-month leadership and personal development journey designed to equip young women with the tools, confidence, emotional resilience, and career advancement strategies required to advance in their academic and professional spaces.

Grounded in research and rooted in empowerment, this programme focuses on:
• Leadership development
• Emotional intelligence & growth mindset
• Strategic career advancement
• Navigating systemic gender-based barriers
• Building a pipeline of future-ready women leaders

Applications are now open for Cohort One of the SSBS Mentorship Programme for Young Women, with only 2 mentee spots remaining.

This 6-month structured mentorship journey, run by Sharing Stories by Shanz (SSBS), a registered Non-Profit Organisation, is designed to equip young women with the confidence, leadership capacity, and strategic skills needed to navigate and challenge systemic gender-based barriers within organisations and society.
