What we experienced goes beyond a single day or a single beach.

It was shared effort, commitment and care for the ocean made possible by every person who took part.

Thank you to all the partners, volunteers, students and supporters who stood with us and turned action into impact.

This is not the end.
See you at the next Beach Care Project.

Reusable bottles. A small symbol of a bigger mission.

Every refillable bottle we bring to the beach is a reminder that change begins with the choices we make, one gesture at a time.
Today, surrounded by students, volunteers and partners, this message felt stronger than ever.

Protecting the ocean isn’t an abstract idea. It’s something we carry with us, every day.One ocean. One future.

The Beach Care Project clean-up in Cape Town wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of the CASE Construction team and the 695 SV, a machine that proved its strength where it mattered most: on the coastline.

From the first scoop of debris to the final stretch of restored shoreline, the team worked with precision, dedication and a deep commitment to protecting the environment.

Seeing engineering and human effort come together for a shared purpose made this day truly remarkable.
A heartfelt thank you to the CASE Construction Cape Town Branch, .eu, and to |sa for providing the that supported today’s clean-up efforts.
Together, we made an impact.
One beach, one community, one ocean.

What happened today goes far beyond a beach clean-up.
It was a moment of community, awareness and hope, a reminder that protecting the ocean begins with the choices we make together.

Thank you to every student, teacher, partner and volunteer who walked with us, picked up even the smallest piece of waste, and showed what real collective action looks like.
Your energy, your hands and your voices shaped a day we will carry with us for a long time.

This is how change starts: one gesture, one beach, one community at a time.
And today, Cape Town showed what is possible.

One ocean. One future.
Thank you, from all of us.

Healthy soil doesn’t just support life on land, it protects our oceans too.

On World Soil Day, we remember that erosion, poor land management and degraded soil increase pollution at river mouths and along our coasts.
Caring for the soil means caring for the sea.

And on this very day, we’re taking action with our beach cleanup — best day ever to make a difference! 🌍💙

oday marks an important milestone for the Beach Care Project.
In the historic library of the Cape Town Club, we officially presented our mission alongside the Consulate of Italy in Cape Town and the Italian Scientific Attaché from the Embassy of Italy in Pretoria.

An intimate moment that brought together researchers, institutions and key partners — including Catherine Constantinides and Jenique Botha from Miss Earth South Africa — to share vision, science and the urgency of protecting our coastal ecosystems.

Thank you to Consul Giulio Mignacca for the warm welcome and support.

From Cape Town, our journey continues.
One ocean, one future.

From the first steps on Cape Town’s shoreline to the heart of our educational mission.

The Beach Care Project begins here: meeting the team, exploring the coast, and preparing the ground for days dedicated to science, awareness, and ocean protection.

In the next few days, we’ll enter classrooms, listen to stories, and work together to understand how every action — even the smallest — can make a difference for our oceans.

Follow our journey in Cape Town.
