🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day, SCO Family! ✝️

Today we celebrate the beautiful diversity of our nation, many cultures, languages, and traditions woven into one rainbow nation.

But as the Body of Christ, we carry an even deeper heritage, one secured not by birth, but by the blood of Jesus.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession"1 Peter 2:9

Every tribe. Every tongue. One family in Christ.

Wherever you find yourself today, be proud of where you come from, and even prouder of whose you are. 🙌🏾

Happy Heritage Day! 🎉

Greetings Family,

Isaiah 62:1-4 [NIV]

For your sake
[1] For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
[2] The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
[3] You will be a crown of splendour in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
[4] No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah ; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.

Amen

*Greeting Family 💙*

*Psalms 143:8*
_“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”_

* This verse encourages us that in the morning it is God’s word that should speak to our hearst for it will give us comfort and it comes with unfailing love.
* God’s love is faithful and dependable. No matter what the day brings, His love remains
* Before the desires of the day begin, we should let God direct our steps and to be attentive to his word.
* To trust His direction, we may not know what the day holds, but we can trust the One who does.

*Prayer*
Lord, let your word speak to me this morning and bring comfort to my heart. Help me to rely on your unfailing love. Clear my mind so that I can discern the path you want me to take. Keep my eyes fixed on your direction and help me to understand how you want to use me today. I surrender my plans to you and trust you to guide my steps. Amen.
