We had an amazing day serving 200 hotdogs, along with cool drinks, sweets, and popcorn, to the kids in our community! 🌭

A huge thank you to Shoprite South Africa, SA Harvest, Khathalelana, Jive and all the generous individual donors, and our volunteers who prepared everything with so much love and dedication.

Because of you, smiles were bigger and hearts were fuller!

A big thank you to WOOLWORTHS for their generous support.

When the Cape Town Marathon was cancelled, food prepared for 24,000 marathon runners was shared with community projects.

We were grateful to help redistribute it to children in Delft, bringing smiles and nourishment to many.

Because of your kindness, we were able to repurpose these goodies and bring smiles to so many little faces in Delft.

As official food sponsor of the 2025 Cape Town Marathon, we had prepared to feed 24 000 marathon runners at the halfway mark and at the finish line.

When the cancellation of the Cape Town Marathon was announced at 4:45am on Sunday, our team sprang into action to ensure the fresh produce didn't go to waste. By 10am, all available food had been collected by eighteen charities to be distributed to those who needed it most.

Woolworths had organised 26 000 bananas, 20 000 Clemengolds, 280kg of potatoes, 10kg of dried fruit, 5 000 apples, 4 800 dates, 1 800 sandwiches and 600 hot cross buns to be given to runners on the day.

Because the event was cancelled, instead of runners being fuelled by top quality fresh produce, charities in Cape Town were able to feed communities in need – and no food went to waste! 💚

It was heartwarming to visit Angels Honey Bees one of the community kitchens who we support in Delft.

Witnessing the dedication of these incredible women, who tirelessly support vulnerable children with nutritious meals, was truly inspiring.

We are deeply grateful to play a small part in this vital feeding program, but the work doesn’t stop here. You can be part of this mission too! Let us know how you would like to get involved and help us make an even greater impact in the lives of those who need it most.

Happy 4th Birthday to the Laeeq Toffar Foundation!

Four years ago today, we proudly achieved our registration with the Department of Social Development, turning our founder’s dream into a reality.

From our beginnings in Delft, Cape Town, we have grown steadily, navigating the non-profit sector and welcoming incredible individuals into our journey.

Our progress would not be possible without the unwavering support from our community, friends, partners, board members, volunteers and donors—both past and present. Your contributions have fueled our successes and made a significant impact.

While we may seem quiet at times, rest assured we are diligently working behind the scenes, with our community kitchens providing vital meals to vulnerable children and adults.
